Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a teen’s life? NextGen and JumpSpark, the teen initiative at Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, are looking for female-identifying members of the community between the ages of 22-30 ish to serve as mentors for high school women between the ages of 14-18. These teens are part of JumpSpark’s Strong Women Fellowship and are exploring leadership through feminist and Jewish lenses. They are looking to connect with mentors for advice on possible careers, college, and Jewish ideas.
Mentors will provide guidance and support for 2-3 teenage women starting in January 2023. Each mentor will be paired with their mentees in a mentor match event on January 8th. Mentors will be asked to meet with their mentees outside of the fellowship and check in with them throughout the year, as well as attend a training session in December.
